The Last That Live Forevermore by Sydney Bower
If the Ouroboros eats itself,
If the Time remains infinite,
If after death the Time for redemption expels,
Would one want now to achieve Fulfillment?
The Last slumps and remains passive.
He’s lost most hope and motivation,
Though his lusts remain massive,
And gains through only instant gratification.
In the long term, he is in sorrow.
Every day he thinks to himself:
“It will be different tomorrow,”
But never if the Ouroboros eats itself,
If the Time remains infinite,
If after death the Time for redemption expels,
Would he want now to achieve Fulfillment?
Tomorrow came and the Last died
From his own selfish faults.
He was then reborn but still lives to be satisfied
And thinks he lived differently, but that thought is false.
The life cycle simply repeated for us,
For we never considered
If the Ouroboros eats itself,
If the Time remains infinite,
If after death the Time for redemption expels,
Would we have wanted to achieve Fulfillment?
